Rene Ramirez walked out of the elevator of the buncker, it had been six month since he had joined ''team Arrow'' and he was finaly getting a hang of it.
what's going on over there?- he asked to Kurtis and Rory who where standing by the wall watching Felicity and Oliver argue about something. He couldn't say that finding out the identity of Starcitys first vigilante wasn't a surprise, never in his wildest dreams he would have imagined the spoiled ex- CEO of a the now named Palmer-tec would dress up in green leather at night and beat up criminals.
- Mom and Dad are fighting again- sometime ago they had taken on calling their two leaders Mom and Dad. And until now, it hadn't really registered how acurate the nicknames were. Felicity actually behaved like their mother when in the field and at the buncker, she made sure they were save and informed, fead and healed after each mission, plus she wasn't above giving a good tonge lashing when nessesary, and above all, she was the only person who could make Oliver listen, not even Digg could take an idea of his head, when in had already taken roots. All it took was a stearn look and some gentle words and Felicity had he Green Arrow eating of her palm, it was hilarious!
As for Oliver, he was like an awkward first time father, not very sure of what to do but still trying, he pushed them to be better and he protected them when things became to dangerous. He made sure they were all out of danger before retreating from a mission, if any of them where injured, he would send them back to the buncker to be treated, and no one was left behind. He would get angry and worried when we disobeyed (he knew that from experience), but have a peptalk and a pat on the soulder after, he would make sure they understood why they wronged and made them promise not to repeat it. As Rene watched the not-really-a-couple-anymore-couple argue, he thought about all of these, and his thoughts were confirmed as Felicity let out a frustrated growl and turned to sit back infront of her computers, and the mighty hero disapeared into the back, a few minutes later, Oliver came back with a hot cup of coffe that he placed next to the computers geek keyboard. She turned to look at him, still seated, and Rene saw how her soulders sagged as she gave him a small smile and sent Oliver to the showers. They indead acted like a married couple, and somewhere in his mind Rene started thinking that to them, Kurtis, Rory, an himself where truly like their children... Oh well, at least he had a family again.
