My Own Hands

"I'm son of Jupiter! I'm a child of Rome, consul to demigods, praetor of the First Legion. I slew the Trojan sea monster. I toppled the black throne of Kronos, and destroyed the Titan Krios with my own hands." -Jason

Mount Tam, During the Battle of Olympus

"KRIOS!" Jason yelled. "COME OUT AND FACE ME!"

On the Black Throne, Krios shook in fright.

"Krios, take my burden." Atlas pleaded. "Let me fight this demigod."

Krios laughed. "You had your chance Atlas. It is my duty to defend the throne, not yours."

A loud explosion, the front gates had been destroyed.

"Curse those Romans," Krios spat.

As the dust settled, a figure approached. It was a young man. He was dressed in gleaming golden armor of a centurion commander.

"So, you are Jason, Jupiter's son, Praetor of the First Legion, Slayer of the Trojan Sea Monster…" Krios said.

"And soon the one that will destroy you and topple the Black Throne." Jason finished.

"I am a Titan, you, a mere mortal cannot defeat me." Krios laughed.

Jason pointed directly at Krios. "You… are nobody. You are not remembered for anything. You are worthless. I am almost disappointed that I could not have a more worthy opponent."

Jason turned to Atlas, and smiled, "Like Atlas over there."

"Why you little…." Krios rushed at Jason.

Jason calmly stepped aside. As soon as Krios passed he grabbed the horned helmet.

"Don't you know that horns on a helmet are a horrible idea?" HE spun and flung Krio at the throne.

"I can simply grab your horns and guide your wherever I want you to go." Jason continued.

Krios bellowed in rage. "I am Krios! Lord of the South! The Horned One! Lord of Constellations!"

Jason smirked. "As I said before, you are nobody. You have done nothing of significance."

Lightning began to spark along his armor. "I will tear you apart with my BARE HANDS!"

Jason rushed at Krios.

Krios tried to catch him, but the moment he touched, the Titan screamed in Agony.

Jason pushed Krios back to the black throne, the titan begging for mercy the whole way.

"Mercy is for the weak." Jason said.

Krios was pinned. Jason held him firmly in the throne.

His anger reached its peak. Millions of volts flowed from Jason into the Titan and the throne.

Krios had been incinerated, as had the throne.

Calls of "Victoria! Victoria!" echoed around the mountain. "Victory! Victory!"

They had won.
