Happy Birthday times two!
Today was Akari's and Chase's birthday. Spring 23. It was so amazing on how much those two had in common. Same birthday, The same food likings. It seemed like those two were perfect for each other. But, There was just one person who stood in their way of happiness. Maya. Akari had never liked Maya but she was always nice to her because of her mother's words.
"Always treat other's the way you want to be treated." Her mother once said. But the problem was, Maya irked her. She was so annoying. Akari can point out the number of times that She and Chase had been so close to dating but Maya just had to but in.
Past Akari's POV
"Hey Chase?" I had asked before the Brass bar's closing time.
"Yeah?"
"Um..W-Would you like to-"
"HEY CHASEY-POO!" Maya ran up to Chase and pushed me to the ground.
"What?" I could tell by the look on Chase's face that he was already annoyed with her.
"I love you!" She pulled him by the shirt and almost kissed him..If I wasn't around. I basically slapped Maya until she let go of him.
"He's mine!" I had yelled. I was always the shy girl. But when people got on my nerves, The real me came out. Chase's eyes widened in shock. I jumped over the counter and kissed him. He was surprised but kissed back. I had giggled slightly after as I had looked at the calender and realized what day it was.
"Happy Birthday."
Present:
I never forgot the day..This day that we had our first kiss. Chase wrapped his arms around me and I blushed slightly. He gave me a kiss on the cheek, which I returned by kissing him fully on the lips.
"Happy birthday." We said in unison.
