Dear readers: Please review if you read this. You don't have to write much, just so I can know what you think about mine (and Vareena's!) story :)XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Vareena Gloria Angelina Darcy
Vareena Gloria Angelina Darcy, known to most of her friends as simply Vareena, or Varey, was a 17 year old girl.
She had long, wavy red hair that stood sharply in contrast to her delicately white skin. Her eyes were a shocking shade of blue. The color of the sky, most people that saw her said with a sigh. Her lips had the same flamingly red shade that her hair had, and also stood sharply in contrast by her marvelously pale skin. They were very full, and sometimes she looked like she was pouting. She liked to sing and dance, and was very splendidly good at it. At parties she was always the center of attention, and she had a boyfriend. When Vareena was 9, she had surprisingly vanished. She didn't really comprehend it then, but she was special. Vareena had materialized in a big city called New York. She had lived alone since then, and went to a school near the apartment that she rented. Vareena worked at a café near her house, and always had lots of money to shop clothes.
"Ann!" Vareena shouted happily as she slowly started running to her friend Ann Smith.
Ann smiled brightly as she saw Vareena coming towards her. "How was your summer?" Ann questioned Vareena wonderingly.
It was the first day of the new semester. Vareena quietly answered that she had had a good summer, because it was not true.
Vareena had discovered that she could fly! Vareena had almost been robbed by almost 15 people when she had wished that she would not be there.
Suddenly, she had grown big black wings! The wings had quickly come out from her back, and she had elegantly flown away.
The next day, when she woke up she had gone out to a field and flown around.
Now the wings were dazzlingly snow-white, and made of feathers instead of the black plate that the ones before had been.
Vareena was scared because she was different, and now people wouldn't like her.
Sometimes, when Vareena was tired, or wanted to be somewhere else, she would feel dizzy and suddenly be somewhere that she didn't know how she had gotten there so quickly. She thought that that might have something to do with the wings!
Will she tell her best friend? Will she take over the world? Will she use her new-found powers to find her parents? Find out next chapter!
