A/N: Hello. I'm sort of a Fanfiction veteran, but the first time writer in the iCarly section. I usually write Zoey 101. So, I hope this oneshot will do the show justice, and I hope it will do the characters justice as well. Hope you enjoy as I branch out and write about another Nickelodeon show. I was bit by the Seddie bug. Enjoy this character study thing.

Freddie Benson is sure that he loves Carly Shay. He loves her, and is sure that crush will never fade.
Fade? His crush on Carly? He can't even comprehend the thought, and it makes his nose happy, right? Carly is pretty, perfect and everything wonderful about life.
Yet life is quite intricate and complicated – and Freddie would know the definition of complicated.
The endless tick baths, the eight dollars allowance, and mother-son synchronized swimming is complicated enough. His mother still thinks cloud burn is real. It probably is, but his mother is just the tip of the iceberg, as to why Freddie's life is complicated.
Two words: Sam Puckett.
It starts when they're doing iCarly.
Suddenly, Carly's smile is changed into a smirk that teases him when he looses yet another bet.
Or a frown that is accompanied by a glare that is cold enough to stop him in his tracks.
Straight brown hair is transformed into long curly blonde hair that frames her face, and brown eyes are changed into a light green-blue shade. He can't comprehend it, but their squabbles bring out an emotion that is so powerful.
His heart beats a little faster in his ears, and his blood races through his veins a little more.
She's aggressive, abrasive and everything Carly isn't. Sam isn't perfect but she's flawed.
Freddie come to acknowledge that the flaws are what make Sam, well, Sam. That, and that fact that she fills Mrs. Briggs' bagpipes with week old relish.
Sam's smile is actually very beautiful on her, even though she smiles at the sight of an edible meat product, mostly ham or the misery she conveniently causes him. Maybe both. And her eyes are blue pools of mysteriousness.
Freddie can't have anymore complication in his life, so he'll keep his crush on Carly for his own sanity.
He'll keep the camera panned on Carly because he can't risk loving Sam. It's too scary. She'd probably laugh in his face, but that's not breaking news.
That has to stay in one place. Behind-the-scenes.
A/N: Okay, so there's my first iCarly drabble. And next to Spencer, Freddie is my favourite character, and as mentioned, I've been hit with the Seddie bug. I'm still testing the waters a little with a new category, hence this drabble. I told you that it would be sort of angsty. Please tell me how I did. I've been watching a lot of iCarly to get into the characters. I might do a Sam one later in the future. Please tell me how I did for the first time.
Just incase you're wondering, it's supposed to be choppy, and a character study type thing.
