You Do Always Come Back!
Sokka lay on the beach at Kyoshi Island, smiling. He loved the peace and quiet of the ocean. It helped him forget about the war. Even though it had ended seven years ago, he could still remember every single moment of those painful, stressful, sorrowful times. Well, some good did come out of it. Besides the obvious, he and Suki had gotten married and had a beautiful little girl named Kya. Speaking of which-"Daddy! Daddy! Look what I found!" the child yelled as she ran along the shore, carrying an unidentifiable lump. She stopped in front of him and shoved the seaweed-encrusted mass in his face. "I found it in a tide pool! Do you know what it is?" Sokka smiled wider. "I don't. But I guess we better find out!" Without further ado, he plunked down on the sand, grabbed a rock, and started chipping at the gunk covering the mysterious object. Five minutes and three rocks later, Sokka found himself staring at a rusty, thin, L-shaped, two-holed object. A rather familiar rusty, thin, L-shaped, two-holed object. Sokka grinned crazily and held up the object, shouting to the heavens, "Boomerang! You do always come back!" Kya stared at him. "You're weird Daddy."
