Sipping her tea, the old woman sat rocking as if to travel through the past in her memories. The musty smell of old filled the children's noses as the pages of the book flipped open. "Lay silent, stay still, and I'll tell you tales of pixiedust, faery wings and eleven magic!"
In the forest of Evergreen, as the day awoke from the darkness of night, the bird's songs filled the air. The sun's rays broke through the thick mist, tickling the petals of the wild flowers covering the forest floor. Little colorful faeries gathered sweet smelling petals from the flowers that lined the great stream. The stream was vast, calm, and had an abundance of life. There were fish of many colors, thick green plants, and white pebbles that made up the stream's floor. There was also a shadowy being with yellow eyes that moved in a serpentine motion through the vegetation, watching the shore, as if to hunt it's next meal. For the great beautiful stream was the end of good and the beginning of evil.
This is the land of Lantuween. A magical world filled with green rolling hills. Lush, colorful meadows where unicorns run free. Magestic mountains that reach to the heavens, surrounded by great lakes, and mystical forests. Though mortals live among the magical beings here, Lantuween is ruled by faeries. The fair and generous Queen Maliah is loved and respected by all. However, with love and respect comes much hate and jealousy. There are those in this world that would like nothing more than to destroy the good, and peaceful land of Lantuween. Kryton, the Goblin King, is the ruler of a dark, evil land called Mothlorien. Mothlorien lies beyond the boundary of the great stream, and is filled with hideous, hateful beings.
There has been peace between these two lands for centuries since the battle of Anwaih. This battle was over the control of the Anwaih box, which holds the four elemental stones. It was so written in the beginning of time, that he who possesses the box of Anwaih, controls the world. Mothlorien lost the battle and the Elves took control of the box. A long time passed and the Elven King Lathos fell in love with a young faery named Anroma. They ruled over Lantuween as King and Queen until Lathos's death. Queen Anroma gained control over the land and the stones, and the faeries have ruled until present day. Some of the elves and pixies disagreed with this union and made Mothlorien their home. That day will live in sorrow until the end of time.
It is believed that King Kryton has been planning an uprising for years, to steal the box and place it on the alter in the castle Degrondil. Some dismiss this as rubbish. Others who believe the stones will never be safe, have trained to fight and assembled armies to make sure this day never comes.
For if the stones are lost to Mothlorien, Lantuween will fall…Forever.
