a/n: Inspired by my Poetry class. Hope you guys like my first Noctis/Stella poem. Its a step outside of my prose-filled world.

Why I Kiss You

She never really saw the beauty in him until—
His eyes were closed;
His right cheek rested against a hand;
His eyebrows were knit together.
—how his face made her weak!
She should, she thought. She should capture this moment of imperfect beauty.
How?
If it fades into unsuspended oblivion, then…
If it slips into the abyss of the night, then…
Little things unnoticed which result in the largest of consequences.
She'll forget if she won't take another look.
She'll regret if she won't seize the opportunity.

a/n: The image which the persona (Stella) sees in the boy (Noctis) is based on a screenshot from one of the Versus trailers. I think its fairly obvious what image it was. ;)
-Poems have many different interpretations--and its all based on the reader. Here's one of mine: the title of the poem is the answer to the 'How?' asked by the persona. There are other possible analysis for this poem. Care to share yours? :)
