This is just a short one-shot that came to mind.

The weatherman said it was going to be a clear night. Haruhi cursed him silently as she got ready for bed. Several flashes of lightning and crashed of thunder had lit up and shook her apartment already.
In the two months the Host Club had been in Boston, she had still not gotten used to the storms. She always hated them at home. Hate was not strong enough to describe her feelings for Boston's storms. They were twice as heavy, three times as loud and a lot more frightening.
The crash of thunder came as Haruhi was about to get into bed. She kicked herself once again for not making sure she had packed her earplugs and blindfold.
No point worrying now. I've sat out several storms. I can sit out this one. It'll be over before too much longer.
Some how, her thoughts did not help when another crash of lightening shook the apartment.
Haruhi was lying in her bed and staring at the ceiling, contemplating whether or not to find Tamaki and sit out the thunderstorm with him when her bedroom door opened.
"Haruhiiii!"
Haruhi recognized the sing-song voice instantly.
"What, Tamaki?"
Tamaki sat on the edge of the bed. "I was worried about you. This is the worst storm we've had here."
As if to prove this, the apartment shook and lit up as lightning flashed in unison with a loud crash of thunder. Haruhi jumped.
Tamaki chuckled and drew her into his arms. "See? Where are you earplugs and blindfold?"
"Japan." Haruhi's voice was muffled by Tamaki's chest. "I forgot to pack them."
He kissed the top of her head. "I guess I'll just have to stay with you then." He laid down onto her pillows, pulling Haruhi with him, never letting go of his love. "I won't let anything hurt you, Haruhi. I told you once that I'll protect you. I still mean that."
Haruhi smiled into his chest. "Thank you." After a moment of silence, she couldn't hold back the question that burned in her mind since Tamaki showed up in her bedroom. "Tamaki?"
"Yes?"
"How'd you get in my apartment? The connecting door is still blocked off."
Tamaki chuckled. "Kyoya told me where your spare key is hidden."
Haruhi laughed. That did sound like Kyoya. However, her laughter didn't last long since another crash of lightning caused her to jump. Tamaki held her tighter and whispered sweetly to her. Every time thunder crashed, Haruhi would jump and Tamaki would whisper more things. With every crash, Haruhi would jump less. When Haruhi didn't even stir at the loudest crash yet, Tamaki realized she was sound asleep in his arms. He smiled, kissed her forehead, and went to sleep himself.
Kyoya smiled to himself on the fire escape outside Haruhi's bedroom. He took the flashlight, thunder recording, and camera and returned to his apartment. The Host Club followers were going to love these pictures of Tamaki comforting a scared Haruhi. They'd pay big.
Kyoya smiled to himself again. This is probably one of my best ideas.
He got to work putting the pictures with the others of Haruhi and Tamaki that would make up the photo book of their relationship.
That's it! I wasn't sure if I should have put that last little bit in. Let me know what you think, please. Constructive criticism is always nice if necessary.
