A/N: I'm doing a drabble a day challenge on tumblr, but I liked this one a lot, so decided to post it here too.

The rain had been pouring down on Washington DC the whole al ready, it was a perfect representation of the mood surrounding the team. There latest case had been a though one, with every new bit of information they found out, they were just too late. In the end they had lost another marine's family before they could catch the an navy lieutenants ex wife for all the murders. She had blamed the military for taking away her family so now she was taking away military families.

Tony and Ziva walked out of the NCIS building, both holding on to their own umbrella to shield them from the downpour. Both let go of a sigh at the same time, they glanced at each other but neither really had the energy to cheer the other up. The parking lot closes to the NCIS headquarters had been full this afternoon so they were in for a up hill stroll to the north east parkinglot.

Ziva kept her eyes trained in front of her, wondering what kind of grieve the woman must have been feeling and the anger she had hold onto in the interrogation room. Ziva knew how it was to lose your family, the worst thing about this whole situation is that she understood the need of revenge. The need to right a wrong, was she really that different.

"So." Tony said, peering at the sky from under his umbrella. He didn't really know how to continue but he felt like they should talk. He took a step closer to her but there umbrella's bumped each other and he was forced to step more to the right giving her an apologetic smile

"Tony, I." She started, but was unsure of how to continue. Ziva looked at Tony, no trace of the smile he just gave her was on his face, the burden of there latest case clearly visible. She wondered if he would understand, he had been so vocal about how crazy this woman had been.

"You're not her, you know." Tony suddenly said out of nowhere and Ziva froze in place looking at him. How could he have known she was thinking about this.

"Aren't I Tony? I killed Bodnar have I not? I went after the person that took my family away. How am I different from her? I took my revenge and so did she." Ziva said fiercely.

"Yes, but…" Tony answered and took a step closer to her, but again the umbrellas bumped and he was forced to take a step back.

"But, what Tony? Sure, Bodnar was a horrible human being and if he was not stopped he would hurt more innocent lives, and she killed innocent families. But isn't that basically the same?" Ziva asked, the rain continuing to fall.

Peering back up to the sky once again, Tony gave himself a moment to think. "Ziva, they might look basically the same, but she went about it the wrong way. The difference between the two that one takes and the other safes lives makes them fundamentally different. You're not the same."

"How can you be so sure?" Ziva asked, feeling Tony's reassuring words ease her doubts.

"Because…" Tony started once again stepping forward and letting out a frustrated sound when once again the umbrella's stopped him. He heard Ziva chuckle and a smile appeared on her face and he decided she knew she was a good person, they both knew it. So Instead of using more words he decided to cheer her up. He lowered his umbrella and within seconds he was soaked. He hold out his hand to her and said. "Dance with me."

Ziva looked up at him, his eyes twinkling with joy. Now it was her turn to peer out from under the umbrella to the grey and black sky. She would get soaked, but a smile appeared on her lips and she too dropped her umbrella and took his hand.
