They were all wondering what had happened between the two. Sure their relationship wasn't secret but they kept to themselves and now sonething had...changed. Lily, James, Peter, Frank, Alice, Arthur, Molly and Fabian were on their way to Remus' to ask why things had changed. It wasn't very obvious but knowing them the way they did give them the advantage of seeing the subtle changes. They never had those staring competitions anymore where the could sit for fifteen minutes silently communicating or they never really touched each other anymore, not that they did frequently but they would brush past one another and a hand would linger too long. This all had stopped and Lily was down right annoyed about it so, brought everyone who was intrested to Remus' to ask the question everyone wanted to ask.
As Lily was Lily, when she was in a mood her manners went out the window and she opened the door letting herself, and everyone else, in. She was about to call out when she noticed it was empty. Not like no-one was home but literally empty, the walls cream ,the carpet red but nothing else remained. Everyone suddenly felt dread. Then the sound of pure melancholy crashed down on them. They looked down the hall to see Remus Lupin playing a grand white piano, head bowed, face just blank then he started to sing.

His head fell back and he stared at the ceiling,

his whole body tensed and you could fell the rage like electricity in the air.

Suddenly his head dropped,

He played the final notes and stared at the keys.
Lily was silently crying as were the other women, James had tears in his eyes and they all stared in disbelief at the complete and utter raw emotion that Remus had just produced. They all heard a choked sob and turned to see Sirus with his back retreating down the walk way. They knew the reason why now. When they looked back into the house Remus looked back completely broken, eyes bloodshot but he only looked away.
Not only had Sirus lost Remus, he was now lost himself..
