Um, yeah, just randomly thought it up today :) It's a poem sort of based on Clary's perspective as she watches Jace hunt. If it's absolute crap, I apologise :/

The City Of Fallen Angels

At midnight, the huge bell rings,

You stand on the top of the tower,

With your big white wings,

And in your hand a single red flower,

The same redness as blood.

From the tower you dived,

And lightly touched the mud,

The angels above sang and thrived.

The demons deep below in hell,

Shrieked with rage and anger,

Waiting as you slowly fell,

Fully aware of the awaiting danger.

You swooped towards the giant Forsaken,

The flower now a glittering dagger,

Looking for revenge for the lives it had taken,

Joyous when you caused the demon to stagger.

You looked onward in glee,

For demon killing to you was art,

And in a movement almost to quick to see,

Your dagger was shoved into the demons heart.

You pulled the blade back,

Saw the glistening ornate jade

Covered in the demons blood black,

And its massive body began to fade.

You kicked away the dark form,

Your face twisted in disgust.

You stood, unfazed, as this was the norm,

And turned away as darkness turned to dust.

Your golden eyes and hair

Seemed silver against the moon,

Your beauty beyond angel's compare,

Hoping your next demon kill will be soon.

You were a Shadowhunter, son of the angel's divine,

Still so young, but able to bring demons to shame.

You were no brother of mine,

And finally sure of your name.

You were Jace Lightwood,

My love, my friend.

Your soul was filled with good.

And you remembered it in the end.

*Hides* But yeah, tell me what you think :) R+R for cookies
