"Konata-san…Have you ever read any horror manga?" Kagami asked, pulling at her hair a bit. "I see them all the time in book stores, but I don't think I've ever seen you pick up any." Tsukasa nodded, sitting next to her sister. Konata looked up at the ceiling.
"It's not that I don't read them…It's just that I have to avoid a lot of them." Konata explained. Kagami was confused. She cocked her head to the side.
"Why would you avoid them?" Tsukasa asked. Konata's face suddenly went dark and her eyes narrowed.
"Zombies are scary stuff." Her voice was dark, and almost sinister. Kagami sat back giggling.
"No way!" she exclaimed. "You seem like the kind of person who would love watching zombies devour people." Konata shook her head.
"Seriously. I'm terrified of zombies. Vampires are the ones that I like reading about." she scratched the back of her head. "Most mangaka these days write about zombies, though, so I can't bring myself to pick up and horror manga lately." Tsukasa almost jumped.
"B-but! Vampires are way scarier than zombies!" She cried. "They sneak into your room and are really fast and super strong! Zombies you can at least run from." Kagami nodded vigorously.
"It's true. I'd probably be more scared of a vampire." she told Konata. The blue-haired girl looked at the desk. A dissatisfied frown remained on her face.
"I'm only afraid of zombies because they are the perfect enemy. Vampires will only take your blood…but zombies….Zombies will eat you. Every part of you. Then you have to live the rest of your days as a flesh starved, brainless zombie with the rest of them." She shivered visibly. "Even Haruhi won't challenge a zombie!" Tsukasa squeezed her eyes shut.
"All this talk about zombies and vampires! I'm starting to think one of them will crawl in through the windows, or jump up behind us!" Kagami nodded.
"What if one really does?" she asked warily. Konata looked around.
"We'd have to jump under the desks and arms ourselves with our chairs. Zombies hate silver." The blue-haired girl exclaimed. Kagami looked up in thought.
"Isn't it werewolves that hate silver?" Konata's face suddenly was covered in a slightly visible layer of realization. She pointed at Kagami.
"Oh yeah!" she exclaimed. Tsukasa looked at Konata, then back to her sister.
"Did y-you guys hear something?" she asked, sounding terrified. Konata glanced at Kagami, then dove under her desk. The twins did the same, grabbing the legs of their chairs, just in case. Konata glanced up just as the door opened, and jumped up yelling, chair in hand.
Miyuki jumped back, protecting her face with both hands.
"Wh….Konata-san! What are you doing!?" she asked in wonder. Konata set down the chair and pointed to the twin's desks.
"It was all their fault."
"HEY!" Kagami yelled from beneath the desk.

"Are zombies or vampires scarier?" Miyuki asked, putting a finger to her mouth. Konata and Kagami waited in wonder. "Well," she started holding the finger up in knowledge, "it really depends on the person. For some, the idea of rotting flesh on zombies is simply terrifying. Which to others, vampires biting you without leaving a trace and having to live as their slaves for eternity is the most scary thing." Konata nodded in wonder.
"Thank you Miyuki-san." Kagami acknowledged. Tsukasa smiled and nodded also.
"I get it now." she told her pink-haired friend. Konata glanced back at Miyuki.
"But," she started, "If zombies and vampires are equally scary…which are more spooky? Ghosts? Or werewolves?"

THE END!
I know it wasn't that funny, but I really had fun writing it -.
I hope you enjoyed reading it too!
I wrote this fic while listening to Kioku to Sora, so it's really…supernatural.
