Prologue
The light from the sun reflected off of the smooth leather that seamlessly wrapped around her small frame. The sound of her shoes tapping on the stone pathway was the only thing that could be heard for miles. The town had been deserted for years now, nothing but old, decrepit buildings now.
The woman stopped mid-stride as a small smirk came across her lips. "I thought I might find you here" She said as she turned on her feet and knelt down. A small tiger cub came walking out from behind the abandoned building. The cub growled at the woman as she slowly made her way closer. "Shh." She said softly as she worked her talent, trying to calm the beast. "It's alright, I'm not going to hurt you." She had been able to get close enough to place her hand on top of the beast's head. She could feel a light vibration move through her hand and up her arm. She laughed as she stroked the top of its head. "That's a good girl." She said, the cub purring happily.
It has been many years since that day they encountered each other in that wasteland that was once called a town. Sashaii walked into the tavern and took a seat at her usual spot. She nodded towards the bartender, a signal they both knew all too well. He slid the mug down the bar as she reached her hand out for it. She drank on it as Kagome lay on the floor beside her. Sashaii closed her eyes as a small sigh escaped her lips. "The journey hath only begun" She said under her breath, downing the last of the liquor in her glass.
Authors Note: Alright, I know this isn't much but its all that I could come up with off the top of my head. I'm hoping to work on it and make it better and actually know what the plot of this whole story is. I just recently got into the whole "WoW" game and everything so I'm not sure how a lot of this is going to go. So bear with me and please leave your comments...constructive criticism is welcome.
