Oliver gets in a stickier situation then he intends and ends up getting shot. All that he can see when he goes down is the people he loves. One of those people happened to be Barry. When he wakes up the first person he sees is Barry. He says the first words that he can manage to form.
I felt the bullet pierce through me right as I heard the sound echo in my ears. I felt the pain run throughout my body as I fell to the ground. My team took the shooter out, but the damage was done. There aren't many people I love in my life. The two that seemed to flash across my mind the most was my sister and Barry.
I felt myself wake up, but I wasn't actually awake. It was a terrible in-between. I felt trapped between asleep and awake. I heard voices, but I wasn't able to say anything. I knew I had been shot and I could vaguely feel the pain of it. Someone was holding my hand, but it was foggy as to whom. All I found myself thinking about was Barry and Thea. I had fallen for Barry a long time ago, but I knew how he felt about Iris. Someone who is in love with another person isn't someone who you should fall for. I'm an idiot though, so… yeah.
I have no clue how long I'm in this coma like thing, but slowly I am able to understand what is going on around me. I can tell when the nurse comes by to check on me. I can tell when Thea is in the room with me. Barry was the one who had been holding my hand earlier, I knew because I heard his voice. I'm also sure someone had sex in there. When I finally woke up for real it was so freeing. I was groggy though. The only person who was in there was Barry. "I love you" I saw in a weak voice. I say it again and again before he is able to figure out what I am saying. He squeezes my hand "I love you too." He kisses my cheek and I am so happy that he finally got what I was saying because my throat was hurting trying to get the words out. The rest of the time I was in there Barry hardly left my side.
