As he threw up over the side of the island for what had to be the third time, Link winced at Pipit. The brunette clearly didn't hold his alcohol well. After a few minutes passed and he hadn't wretched again, the blonde leaned over to help Pipit to his feet. "I think you drank a little too much." He observed.
"Whuuuuutttt?" The response was slurred and gargled. Pipit flopped back into Link's arms and tilted his head back. "Drinkkks? Ha! I dun drink!"
Link chuckled at him and righted the graduate on his feet. "You drank tonight, though. I think a little too much."
Pipit looked at the senior knight standing in front of him. Well, the three of them. Since when was Link a triplet? "Sss time fer my watch." He muttered at the three blondes. He took a step in the direction of the dock, like he was going to call his bird and fly away.
Immediately Link caught his hand. "No, you shouldn't fly right now. It's almost dark, and you're clearly drunk."
"Not drunk!" How childish of him to argue. "An' I'ma nightttttt flyer! I can handles the dark!"
Link was amused at the antics, but shook his head. Maybe Pipit was a night flyer, but that didn't mean that he could go around flying in the dark when he was too intoxicated to stand up straight. "Maybe you should let me take you home."
He noticed Pipit stumble into his arms again, and Link rolled his eyes. "Still think you're not drunk?"
He got no response, just deadweight against his shoulder. Link let out a pathetic laugh. He'd fainted. It seemed like, for one night, Skyloft would be missing one of its night flyers.
And perhaps it would be best to keep the brunette away from alcohol in the future.
