Disclaimer: Ratchet and Clank are owned by Insomniac Games. Circiut is owned by AmberDiamondSwords. I own nothing.

"Soooo?"

"So what?"

"So when's the wedding?"

Clank's face would have flushed to the deepest shade of red if he were organic after Ratchet asked that illogical question.

"Ratchet! I am not in love with her, but I do like her."

"Clank and Circuit, sittin' in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" Ratchet laughed as he turned on his heel and teased his friend further.

"Ratchet! Stop this immature behavior right now!" Clank childishly stomped his left foot on the ground as he pouted at his friend's teasing.

"Look who's acting more immature than the other, pal." Ratchet smiled back to his friend before he turned his attention to the damaged Bomb Sled.

"Just so you know, I'm not stopping you from talking to her right now." Ratchet grinned as he heard Clank walk out of the room to the purple eyed robot.

"Clank?"

"Yes?"

"Do you ever wonder what else could be out there in the universe?"

"I try not to dwell on it too much."

"Why is that?"

"It is a bit terrifying to think that there could be another race of aliens that are more vicious than War Groks and Blargian Snaggle Beasts." Clank blinked as he took his gaze off the stars and onto the robot lying next to him. The comments that Ratchet had made were still spinning in his head. Did he love or just like this calming purple eye'd lookalike robot?

"Well, I think that is somewhat rediculous."

"Why do you think that?"

"Well, Ratchet owns every model of the R.Y.N.O., right?"

"Yes."

"So, for right now, Ratchet seems to be the most vicious alien in the universe. Especially if somebody threatens to hurt you." Clank couldn't help but remeber probably the oldest memory of Ratchet being protective to him. It was back in the Bogon Galaxy when a Desert Rider threatened to turn him into a hubcap and Clank nearly jumped back as he saw the Lombax's fur stand on end and the usually (at that time) polite Ratchet turned into something of that being a aggresive protector.

"I think you are correct there." Clank gave out a quiet laugh that was followed by Ciruit's near clone of his laughter as the sky suddenly became alive with a beautiful meteor shower.

I adored writing this.

Where I feel that I succeeded: Again, at the ship part. I don't know why, but giving Clank and Circuit all the freedom to move the story is really fun. Plus, I just work better with a few main characters in a story as possible.

Where I feel that I failed: For some reason... I feel that Ratchet was just a tad Out Of Character... but then again, this does take place before Ratchet becomes Circuit's adoptive father. From Dreams to Nightmares and whatnot. And also the ending. Something tells me that could have been better. And this could have been longer.

So, thank you guys for dealing with this, and as always, I'll see you guys later!
