As the light of the moon pierce the slits of the blinds during one late spring night, all was silent until the sound of small doors opening and closing, along with the soft footsteps of a child disturbed the quietness of the night. The blinds of the window went up slowly, as the moonlight lit up the child's bedroom, as she open the window.

"Momma…" a little girl's voice called out looking towards the lock door. "You are getting what you want, for me to disappear.."

She grabbed her school bag, and suitcase putting the first of the bag out the window so she had a place to land before crawling out of the room herself, landing on the suitcase. Picking it up, she took one final look at the house that she called home for as long as she could remember, before closing the window, then running as far as she could, and never turn back since.

Many years has past since that fateful night, and still the small child who is now a young woman can still hear her mother's scream ringing in her ears.

"You are a FREAK!" was one of her mom's favorite word to use with her. "A Nightmare!" but the night that she took off, was due to one of the most harshest thing any mother could had said to her child.

"I WISH YOU WERE NEVER BEEN BORN, YOU….YOU MUTANT!" A mutant, something that still haunted her to this very day. Even though she had not yet developed her powers until she was about 13, a purple discoloration of her right eye in contrast to her deep blue left eye was the giveaway. And ever since then she manage to hide it with color contacts, or just putting her bangs over it.

But now living in a world, and a major city where it seem like mutants are popping out of the wood works, and the government have been trying to destroy them, there is one place where it seem all mutants would be welcome with open arms, with…..the X-men.
