Pretty As A Flower

A/N: I'm going to do something new. It has been bugging me, and I just feel like writing it out so that my head could leave me alone. So here's my first TailsXCream or as some people call it Crails, anyways this is just a fluffy one-shot.

The snow melted just a few days ago. Flowers started to bloom. The trees started to fill in its new leaves. The air was nice and crisp instead of cold wind that blew in your face. The grass was as green as it could get. The sun beamed down its rays instead of hiding behind the clouds all winter long.

An overly excited rabbit ran out of her house, without a coat. She felt great as she felt the wind blew on her bare arms.

"Don't go to far, Cream!" Cream heard her mother say from inside her house.

"Okay mom!" She ran down the concrete sidewalk. She heard her shoes tapping against the hard surface.

She kept running until she reached the place that she goes every time when spring just begins to bloom. Rarely people go here.

The place was absolutely just stunning. Flowers were everywhere, and trees were strong and healthy. She just absolutely adored this place.

She walked by one of the perfect trees, and sat against it. "I love spring." She closed her eyes, but she wasn't sleeping she was just relaxing.

About a few minutes later, her ears picked up on someones voice. She cracked one of her eyes opened, and looked around. Her brown eyes observed as she saw Tails walking through the meadows. He looked nervous, jittery, and confused.

"Tails?" He looked her way. His eyes went wide and blush was forming on his face.

He slowly walked to her and sat down next to her.

"What's wrong?" He didn't look at her. His response was a darker shade of blush formed on his face.

Cream let out a slight giggle.

"Hey! What's so funny?" Tails finally had the courage to look at her.

She giggled even louder, "Your blushing."

He covered his cheeks. "Am not! It's just that…it's hot outside."

Cream gave him a weird look. "But it feels fine outside."

"Ugh…anyways I came over here to give you something." He blushed even a darker shade, if that's possible. He pulled his hands off of his face and rested them behind himself, like he is hiding something.

Cream started to get excited. "What is it?"

Tails nervously pulled out his hand that he has been hiding behind his back. There in his hand layed a simple red rose.

Cream eyed the rose up and down, wondering if it's really for her.

"For me?" He nodded his head. She grabbed the rose with great care and smelled it.

"It's beautiful," Cream felt tears forming in her eyes.

Tails boldly leaned in and kissed her cheek.

"I got a secret…" He whispered into her ear.

"…Your pretty as a flower…" Cream let out a soft giggle.
