We met in elementary school
Ms. G made seating arrangements and I spent about a term on a table with someone who is now one of my very best friends. Before I got to know her she was the girl with the beautiful eyes, of course her eyes are still beautiful, , but I now call her Peyton, ; or whatever else I happen to feel like calling her at the time.
The thing about mine and Peytons friendship is we didn't ever really hang out in the same group for ages, but any time I needed her she was always there for me. Even though we didn't move in the same circles, Peyton could have come to me at any time and I'd have been there for her, just like would have done for me; just like she has done for me so many times before. She's seen me through some of the toughest times and she's one of the most amazing, wonderful people I've ever met.
Peyton Sawyer is the sort of friend everyone wants, but not everyone has.
She makes me laugh when all I want to do is cry, she holds me up when everything around me is falling down.
She's is my large-fries-large-sundae-and-a-diet-coke-friend when I have something to do after school. She's my potato-cake-for-the-trip-home buddy. Peyton's the friend I confide in. She's the one that understands what makes me sad the same way she understand what makes me happy.
For me, life hasn't always been easy.
Peyton is the sort of person that embraces people, warts and all. She sees the good in everyone. She is selfless and generous. It's friends like Peyton that make rejection and heartache from the break downs of other friends worthwhile, because none of them could have been the sort of friend Peyton has been to me.
She is a blessing wrapped in a heart warming smile, a gorgeous set of eyes and a love for music that would have the world stop in their tracks and listen with awe.
, you're a beautiful soul and when I'm with you I feel accepted. You make me feel comfortable in my own skin and I know with all my heart that one day our own children will be as close as we are.
I love you, and I know this is only the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
