If you had told her that was up before dawn on a Sunday buying flowers no less, Emma would have laughed in your face.

Yet there she was, up too fucking early for Game of Thorns to be open, and standing outside in the morning rain. The things I do.

Finally after an hour (it felt more like an eternity) the shop opened up and Emma grabbed the few flowers, a card and vase and left back for the apartment. She also glared down poor Moe French. Hopefully he got the message that she was never there buying flowers, and lord help him if it turned out she had been there.

She snuck in, set up everything and left. She was half tempted to make breakfast, but it would be cold by the time Mary Margret woke up.

When you sleep to someone as wonderful as Prince Charming himself, you find it hard to find the motivation to crawl out of bed.

Yet, somehow she did. And when she made her way out into the dinning/kitchen area, her heart melted.

Sitting there on the table was a small bouquet of flowers and a card. She smiled and picked up the vase, smelling the flowers inside. Next to the vase, was a card slightly opened. And written in elegant font across the front was…

"Happy Mother's Day!" Snow read out loud, choking up. Silently she read the inside, which only furthered her tears. When she heard Charming rustling around in their room she attempted to wipe away the tears.

It was the first thing Charming noticed when he came out of their bedroom. For some reason Snow had been crying. "What's wrong?" He asked concern clearly in his voice.

"This." She said and handed him a card. "Read it." Snow prompted as she moved to the kitchen.

Dear….Mom

I-uh-I'm not so good with this kind of thing. This is gonna be awkward, but oh well.

I guess you never would have gotten one of these…back there. But here it's kinda a nice setiment. I'm almost positive I misspelled that, but oh well.

Anyways, I-uh-Thanks for everything. The place to live, advice with Henry, everything really.

Emma

The letter was sloppy and rushed, but that didn't matter to him or Snow. It fit Emma. Anything else and it wouldn't have been Emma. It had every emotion she mustered, written simply in her style.

And it had Charming and Snow crying and smiling all over again. "Don't push it this time Snow." He muttered.

"Not this time, I promise."

AN:Talk about abrupt endings, but at that point I was stuck. Also, fun fact, in the original, Emma drops the "L" word. It felt out OOC so I dropped it. Also uploaded a week before actual Mothers Day, seeing how I'll be at EQLA that entire weekend, more then likely without internet.
