I haven't written any fanfic for others to read before, so please review. I'm going to do a series of one shots about the Joker and Harley. If that goes well, I may do longer pieces. Please let me know what you would like me to write about in later one shots and stories :)
Harley sat in her cold, empty cell sipping the piping hot coffee in her hands. Ahh…it'd been SO long since she'd had her fix. She was a 'Coffee-Ten-Times-A-Day' kinda gal, and it reminded her of home. This was one reason why she demanded a coffee machine in exchange for her re-imprisonment. She had hoped it would help fill the hole he left in her heart… Puddin.
Once again, she felt her entire heart shatter into pieces like a diamond falling to the floor… It belonged to him, and now he was gone. Her J, her Puddin. She had been trying to distract herself with a good book until now, but once she thought of him, she kept picturing him, in her arms, where he belonged one second, and then he was gone. Snatched away. She'd never see her Puddin again. Never feel his lips upon hers, his body, his electric touch. All gone.
She walked over to the machine and began filling her cup once more. Before a tear even had time to reach her cheek, she heard a loud crash that made her jump involuntarily. Men ran in from all directions, rushing to her cell. That bitch Waller, Harley frowned, I knew she'd just come finish me off after trapping me here again. She tensed her body, ready to pounce on her prey. The men started to cut through the bars of her cell. Hmm… That can't be right, surely they'd have a key if they were Waller's puppets… Maybe it's just for dramatic effect, we all know I love a bit of fun! A sly smile played on her lips.
One man pushed past the others blindly, urgently needing to claim his prize. Harley froze. She blinked. The man stood across from her was obviously a cruel joke. One with a punchline she would soon take care of, and it wouldn't say 'JOKER' across his chest, it'd say something MUCH more creative… In his own blood.
But, for some reason, she was frozen to the spot. C'mon! I need to do this for Puddin! Maybe this is Batsy's doin.
The man reached up and ripped his helmet off, grinning, opening his arms for her… "PUDDIN!", she screamed, jumping on him. He looked at her, a love deep in his eyes he could never admit to anyone, and simply said, "Let's go home".
