Big Bob Pataki was trying to watch "The Wheel" when the show suddenly cut to footage of the Hillwood mayoral election between Mayor Dixie, Councilman Green, and Ex-Councilman Gladhand.

"Criminy! What kind of luck is this? Maybe 'The Wheel' is on another channel now," said Big Bob. He changed the channel several times, but the same election footage was on every channel.

"That's it! I'm entering this political race so I can bring 'The Wheel' back on!" said Big Bob.

"But I think it's too late to run as a mayoral candidate, B," said Miriam. "All three parties have been filled."

"Then I'll run as a fourth party," said Big Bob. "That'll show them to put 'The Wheel' back on TV!"

"Jeez, you're really this upset with 'The Wheel,' Big Bob?" asked Helga. "There are bigger issues in Hillwood, in case you haven't noticed. That yutz Gladhand has been trying to kick all illegal immigrants out of Hillwood, and all you care about is some stupid game show?"

"Gladhand, eh? I think I got a better idea than running. I'll bribe that Gladhand so that he's my puppet and I can pull his strings wherever I want 'em," said Big Bob. "Call Gladhand for me, Miriam. I've got a plan that will put 'The Wheel' back on air where I can watch it every night."

"What do you want me to tell him?" asked Miriam, a smoothie in her hand.

"What do you think? Jeez, is it really this hard for you to do anything? I worry about you, sometimes, Miriam. Maybe I'll shut down the smoothie factory while I'm at it." Miriam fainted. "Mother Goose! I guess I'll have to call Gladhand myself."

The next day, Big Bob, Nick Vermicelli, and Gladhand met in Big Bob's study in name only.

"Nick Vermicelli, show Ex-Councilman Gladhand the money," said Big Bob, and Nick Vermicelli opened a suitcase filled with Benjamins.

"Bribe accepted," said Gladhand, taking the suitcase. "I'll let you secretly run this campaign as long as you continue to support the deportation of illegal immigrants like I have."

"Sure, whatever. Immigrants, terrorists, whatever, as long as I get 'The Wheel' back on."

"I'll make you Lieutenant Mayor too. Gladhand-Pataki, that has a nice ring to it."

"How much more for it to be Pataki-Gladhand?" asked Big Bob.

"I don't know if that's allowed," said Gladhand. "But if it makes you happy, I'll try to make it so."
