Chapter 1: Lonely Shadows
A lonely shadow walks in solitude as the rain continues to fall from the blurry night sky.
"Why are you also crying like me?" she asked the rain, still solidly pouring down.
"I don't know why I'm crying but-..." she suddenly burst into tears and sitting on an empty bench, soaking wet from the rain. "He didn't have to yell at me ne?"sniff sniff.
She continued walking until she reached a coffee shop wherein inside, only a few people sat. She entered the shop and began to order Mocca Latte on the counter.
Still shivering from the cold, she managed to find a seat near the glass window.
"hm...at least this would calm me down a bit", then she cries softly.
Meanwhile, the boss of Reikai is busy signing papers again and again. "Where is Botan?, where is she when I need her!? dammit! ". He stood up from his chair and walked towards his balcony, gazing at the night sky. "I didn't mean to yell at you, I know what you feel right now, Gomen nasai..." bowing his head and allowing droplets of tears fall from his eyes.
Somewhere in the city, four good-looking guys were celebrating their member's birthday. "O tanjobi Omedetou Aya-kun!!!" Shouted a blonde guy with wavy hair. "Hey pal, aren't you planning to get a girl?" he teased Aya, who is still quiet even after those party noises. "Cut that out Yoji, its his birthday today, so don't screw it up", interrupted a brown-haired boy who had a sincere look on his face. "Hey, Ken, could I still eat that piece of Chocolate mousse? Hu?" a genki teenager by the name of Omi asked. "Sure Omi, help yourself", Ken assured with a quick nod.
"Yipeeeee!!!,tha-, Omi was cut off when Aya suddenly stood from the couch.
"I'm going out for now, thanks for the party", Aya regarded as he strode of to take a walk. Three pairs of confused eyes watched him as he went out the door.
Aya was mindlessly walking at the park when his cell phone rang. "Moshi moshi", he greeted in a low voice. "We have news for you, come tomorrow at the 'Niji Inn' for the information, room 608 at exactly nine o'clock p.m. Then the speaker on the other line hangs up. "Hm..." Aya thought for a moment before putting back his phone in his pocket. He kicked a stray rock in front of him, still thinking about that call.
"Guess I should go back now..." he whispered through the darkness, slowly covering the night skies. "Ugh, samui desu ne...".
