A/N: Hello there, ladies and gentlemen! I know I didn't finish Puella Magi Hetalia Magica yet, but I wanted to get started on a new idea that caught my interest. So, this is an AU where Alfred (America) and Soo-Jin (Fem!SK) are the parents of Yong-Soo (SK), although for the sake of the story the latter two will be referred to as Jin and Soo more commonly. There'll be a cast later, but to get started:

England=Arthur, an old college dorm mate of Alfred's, and his best friend.

France=François, Jin's ex-boyfriend and a childhood friend of hers.

Fem!America=Amelia, Alfred's twin sister who goes to a university further away. She later on has an adoptive daughter of her own named Madeline (Fem!Canada), who becomes Soo's friend and dated him for a while later on. Not just yet though.

Anyways, enjoy!

"Welcome to Wellington's Bakery. What do you need?"

It was just another day of work for Soo-Jin Im, really. Act pleasant, talk to customers and get them what they need, then move on and repeat. Nothing new, really. Clasping her hands together, she tried not to think of the fact that François still hadn't sent her the purse she had asked for months ago and gave a winning smile to the customer in front of her, feigning anticipation for the blond's response.

"Oh, um..." The bespectacled blond-who looked a lot like a college freshman, just like her-rubbed the back of his neck, chuckling nervously. "I don't have a lotta money, so I'm still kinda...deciding..." His voice trailed off as he glanced around.

To anyone-and especially Jin, who had worked here for almost two months-it was obvious that the guy had never been to this bakery. Well, no wonder. It wasn't very well-known, but it had good pay and the other employees were all very friendly. So, in order to put the poor guy out of his misery, she leaned over the counter and grinned. "Wanna look around for a bit? I can help you with that."

"Nah, you don't have'ta-"

Rolling her eyes, the Korean-American girl maneuvered around the counter and grabbed his hand. "Oh, come on. I know this place like the back of my hand-it'll be fine, I promise." She knew she was being quite persistent, but she just wanted something to take her mind off of her ex-boyfriend for even a few moments. It was still painful to think about the unanswered inquiry, even now.

The man shifted his weight, a frown crossing his face for a split second, before nodding. His smile returned as he replied, "Okay! If y'don't mind, I guess!"

"Okay! Then let's start with the breads!" Jin started to lead the other toward the breads section, before stopping upon realizing she never caught the stranger's name. Huh. She should remember to do that more often. "Oh, yeah-by the way, what's your name? I'm Soo-Jin Im!"

Almost ramming into her, the man straightened up-boy, was he much taller than she was-before offering a friendly smile, accompanying his answer. "Nice t'meet ya, Soo-Jin," he replied cheerily, before giving a mock bow. "Alfred F Jones, at your service!"
