Metal slug part 1
( inside the helicopter )
Commander: sorry to say this, but you have to go on another mission to stop general X
Marco: I thought we had a truce with him!
Commander: I guess he wasn't as forgiving as we thought…we almost killed all his men…
Fio: At least the aliens are gone…
Commander: Good! Now they won't interfere. To complete this mission, you must destroy the enemy's mobile cannon. It's on a boat in a river, we have a tank carrier disguised as a fishing boat waiting for you. But, be careful, for the island is inhabited by supersized crabs. Unlike normal crabs, these eat flesh, so be careful.
Marco and Fio: okay sir!
( Marco and Fio parachute down from the helicopter)
Marco: Let's try to avoid the crabs!
But, to their dismay, the beach was crawling with the crabs.
Fio: It looks like that's out of the question…
Marco: Oh well --
They go on, fighting their way through the crabs.
Marco: LOOK OUT! GIANT FLIES!
The bugs swooped down and tried to grab them. Luckily, they had machine guns, and shot the flies out of the sky. The commander comes up on the walkie talkie.
Commander: I forgot to tell you… there are also giant flesh eating flies on this island…
Marco: Thanks for the information --
Commander: The boat is only a few feet away. I have learned that there are enemy forces on the river with their own boats. You also may encounter docks that may have tanks or their new vehicle. I don't have any information on it though, so you will have to fight it yourself…Goodbye, and Good Luck.
Marco: I see the boat, let's get on!
They jump into the boat, being very careful not to fall off. The boat starts moving.
Fio: It must be self driven.
The see the enemy's boat.
BAM…BAMBAM ARGG BAM BAM BAM AUGH NOOOOOO OHARG
The enemy's boat starts to sink and the last soldier tries to pump out the water. Marco and Fio shoot the boat a few more times, and the water seeps in too fast for the soldier. He sinks with his ship. Marco and Fio's ship begins moving again. They come to a dock.
Fio: This doesn't look like a tank.
They see a large vehicle that looks like a big four-wheel truck. It has ten small holes coming out of the top of it. Five on one side of the top, and five on the other. There is a large hole in the middle. It shoots soldiers two by two out of the big hole.
BAB…BAMBAM ARGG BAM BAM BAM AUGH OUFFF EEUGHH
The truck then shoots 30 missiles out of the small holes
BIBIBIBIBIBIBIBIBIBIBRRRRRRRRRR
Luckily, Marco, and Fio avoid the small bombs that rain from the sky after the truck shot them, but the boat takes heavy damage. They start to blast the truck with their grenade launchers. The dock explodes, and the remains of the truck sink in the river. The damaged boat moves on until it hits an abandoned pier. The boat opens it's cargo box with the slug tank inside it. Fio gets inside, and Marco picks up a shotgun from a corpse.
Marco: Where's the mobile cannon
Fio: There it is!
They see a giant crab; even bigger than the ones on the beach carrying what looks like the mobile cannon.
Fio: I don't understand… how could a crab, even that size, carry a cannon four times it's weight. I mean, I know hermit crabs carry sh-
Marco: Fio! I know you're a nature person and all, but we have a situation here you know!
They blasted the cannon continuously, until it fell off the crab. It was angered, but it left them alone. The helicopter landed on the pier.
Commander: Good work you two! Now I'll drop you off at the entrance to the underwater cave where you're next mission will be. You will meet Tarrma and Eri there. They were with you when you defeated the alien mothership.
