Lalalu

(Listen to Lalalu from lady and the tramp and you will understand what Michiru's singing! :)

Michiru inhaled the ocean breeze. The stars shone bright as she rocked back in forth in her rocking chair. Her little Hotaru was nearly asleep now.

"Lalalu, Lalalu. Oh my little star sweeper. Ill sweep the stardust for you."

She heard the faint sound of the oceans waves and closed her eyes. She grasped that moment. Michiru looked down to see the baby's little eyelashes flutter and close.

"Lalalu, Lalalu. Little soft, fluffy sleeper. Here comes a pink cloud for you."

She sang softly to her dear baby. She smiled and continued to sing. The chair rocked slowly and her aqua curls had been tied up into a ponytail. She reached one hand up to set them free. The sea goddess looked up as she felt a strong hand on her shoulder.

"Lalalu, Lalalu. Little wandering angel. Hold up your wings, close your eyes."

Michiru smiled as she saw Haruka standing behind her. The racer kneeled down beside the rocking chair to gaze at her now sleeping daughter.

"Beautiful tonight isn't it." Michiru whispered. Her voice almost like a song that the sea would deliver.

"Lalalu, Lalalu. And may love be your keeper."

"She reminds me of you, Michiru." Haruka said as she still looked lovingly at baby Hotaru.

"How so?" The violinist asked as she stroked through Hotarus fluffy dark hair.

"You both look so peaceful when you sleep. Like angels." Haruka said as she now looked out at the ocean.

The wind blew through her short blonde hair and she closed her eyes. Michiru smiled at her lover.

"Lalalu, Lalalu."

"Remember….. five years ago, sitting in that parking garage. I wonder what we would have done if we were told that one day we would be raising a child together."

Michiru said as she giggled a bit.

"Its like a happy ending"

Haruka took a deep breath. And took one of Michiru's delicate hands in her own.

"But this is just the beginning. My mermaid." The couple stood, to walk inside their beach house.

After gently placing the sleeping Hotaru in her cradle, Michiru kissed Haruka softly.

She leaned down and then kissed her baby on her forehead.

"There now, little star sweeper. Dream on." She whispered quietly.

Haruka put an arm around Michirus shoulders and they left the nursery together.

"I love you, My wind chaser." Michiru said as she embraced her love.

Haruka inhaled the scent of Michiru and squeezed her tighter.

Im so glad. I found you.
