Kill him. Joker Jodie. Kill him. Joker Jodie. Kill him. Joker Jodie. Kill him. Joker Jodie. Kill him. Joker Jodie. Kill him. Joker Jodie. Kill him. Joker Jodie.

The world was still and no sound was made as the knife was taken out of her back pocket. She hesitated for a moment, feeling the blade, its sharpness and softness, its coldness and warmth and the power she had to take the life of the only person she loved in the universe. Her heart was beating fast and steady, as if to a drum, although it was as fast as the rain that was falling about her. He hadn't showed up yet. She paced the dismal car park with anticipation and a sudden burst of laughter erupted from her mouth. This is what she wanted, this is what she wanted to do for ever. Play with peoples minds. Dangle them on a string and see what they did. It was fun, it was cruel, it was her calling…

A dark figure emerged from the forest surrounding the car park. He was here. She smiled, and made her way calmly but briskly over to him, laughing. He was crying, whispering words of love into her ear, saying he loved her more than life itself.

She smiled at him and said 'let me give you a chance to prove it.'

His eyes widened, and his breathing stopped for a moment. His light brown hair was blowing away from face in the wind and as she brought the blade out of her back pocket and she could see the terror in his eyes. He ran, adrenaline carrying him faster than she had known him to run, but alas if she wanted to succeed she would have to chase. The hunt was on, and she knew, like a lion, she would succeed in catching her prey.

The forest was dark, wet and misty, but he ran as fast as he could trying to escape her. She caught him as he stumbled over a tree branch. She sighed, for she knew now he was doomed and a small part of her wanted him to get away. He was her only ever love but he betrayed her, true love looks deep inside but he could not look past her scars. Even now he was staring at them, trying to pretend he was not. Trying to pretend he was not afraid, but she knew he was, after all everyone knew of the killings that she had committed but no one could prove it. She slowly pulled an Australian two dollar coin out of her pocket, and smiled, bending down to his level. He was shaking and she whispered in his ear,

'Why so serious? I love you after all.'

She slit his throat slowly so he could remember it forever, as she would. His eyes where staring at her as she walked away towards the dismal lights of the car park. Love, she thought, always lies.
