Leaning back in the chair he can just see into the other office

Leaning back in the chair he can just see into the other office. If he angles his head right he can see an elbow. If he wants to see more he knows he'll have to get up, and that would involve finding his cane, which he tossed at the door in frustration a few moments ago.

He's torn.

A few moments later he's limping out onto his balcony, leaning against the divider and trying to gather enough energy to pull himself up and over it so he can disturb James from his paperwork.

Wilson has already spotted him, and by the time House has his bum up on the dividing wall, he's standing behind him, barely three inches from the older man.

'Wha-' House turns to see where he is going and almost falls backwards onto his own balcony, shocked to find that James has not only come out of his office, but sneaked up on him so effectively.

'I told you to stay in your office until eleven.' James tells him, voice low.

'I was bored. The ducklings are downstairs and there's nothing to do.'

'What about lacrosse practice with your cane and that tennis ball I got you?'

'I lost my cane.'

'You what?'

'Ok, I didn't lose it, I lost my temper and tossed it at Kutner when he told me that bloodwork was negative.'

'So you want me to retrieve it for you?'

'No, I just wanted to talk to someone.'

'Well I've only got three minutes until my next patient arrives, and she's one of those annoying ones who's always early for her appointments.'

'That's long enough.'

'Not the way you've been going lately.'

'I've been watching you for the last fifteen minutes.'

'And?'

'You know that coat and stethoscope routine always gets me going.'

'Keep yourself nice, we said no more at work after last time Cuddy almost caught us.'

'She didn't almost catch us, you weren't paying attention and she paged you.'

'Then walked in two minutes later- if I had ignored that page like you told me to she would have caught us-'

'You seriously think she's never seen two men making out?'

'I don't doubt that, I just don't want her screaming like a banshee at us.'

'Come on…' House ran his fingers up Wilson's arm, along his collar and tugged lightly at his tie, loosening it just enough for his fingers to catch the top button and flick it open.

'No!' Wilson swatted House's hands away, but was weakening fast. House saw his opportunity while Wilson was paying attention to his right hand and slid his left under the lab-coat, poking two fingers into the gap between his lowest ribs and extracting a high-pitched giggle from his bed-mate.
It took a few frantic seconds for James to manage to get Greg's fingers away from the sensitive spot, but eventually he extracted himself and half-glared at House.

'That wasn't nice.'

'I never am. Kiss me or I'll spend the next hour pressed up against your office window no matter who comes in.'

'Fine.' Wilson went to give a chaste peck on the lips to the man he was living with, but House caught him by the back of the neck and deepened the moment, dragging it out for almost a minute before James broke away.

'I have patients to see- this can wait until we get home.'

'Yeah, right. Don't forget, you're making dinner.'

House vaulted back onto his own side of the balcony and limped to his door- the pain in his leg was feeling much better all of a sudden.
