Timeless Love is Precious
"You guys dinner's ready! Hurry up before Inuyasha eats it all!" Kagome pours the hot water into the ramen noodle container for Shippo and the others. "About time. I could eat Shippo here if ya took any longer." said Inuyasha grabbing for the noodles only to be burned by the scalding hot cup. "That's what you get for wanting to eat Me." whined Shippo hitting him on the back of the head. After that, diner was mostly quite except for the numerous slaps you heard coming from Sango and Miroku's side of the hut.
Kagome went outside to get some air. She climbed up onto the roof and then started to sing,
We all wana believe in love
we all wana believe in something bigger than us
we all wana be a part
Of the greater picture we're taking in our hearts yeah it bigger than us it fills the universe
it lights the skies above and rescues all our hearts
with love.
Kagome sat on the roof for about a half an hour before she started to feel tired. Even thought Kagome could pull an all-nighter if she wanted to she decided to go back inside. Only to figure out the only way to get down from the roof was to jump off.
'Oh crap I'm stuck up here. Maybe I should have thought this through more.' As Kagome saw the lights go off inside the hut she decide to stay up for a little longer so that she wouldn't have to tell everyone where she was. But that is where she made her mistake. Fifteen minutes after she saw the light go out she saw Inuyasha walking out of the hut going towards the sacred tree. It was pitch black out and the moon was high in the sky but clouds blocked the rays from reaching anyone. As Inuyasha started walking Kagome saw Kikyo's soul collectors guiding him through the forest. Finally Kagome decided to jump and she followed taking her things with her unknowing of what she might see.
