I DO NOT OWN DEATH NOTE WISH I DO BUT I DON'T, in this life time

Me and my sister are currently obsessed with death note, my sister more then me so and she wants to put a story on her account, she's only got one up, so while helping her try and write one, which didn't work I wrote my own.

Why Ryuk really dropped the death note

RYUK POV

Watching him became my favourite pass time. I knew everything about him and all he's been through, since he was 3 years old. At first it was just something to do to pass the time, help with my boredom. But it turned into something I would do at any moment I could which for shinigami's is every single moment possible , yea us shinigami's have nothing important to do in life.

He intrigued me at first with how different he was to other humans with his abnormally long life span, which at the first time I was going to take, but he entertained me. He was incredibly smart, diabolical smarts. How he tripped his mother, leaving no evidence that led to me or stole his fathers badge and hid it. Cute and diabolical the perfect combination.

So I watched him and my boredom was going away, he was my main source of amusement, though the other shinigami's thought I was obsessed like jealous was with his little human, but what do they know there all crazy, but then again so was I, an eternity and beyond can do that to a person.

The most interesting years was when he was around 5 or 6 I cant really remember, he just started school and his genius was noticed in the first week, so like what they do with every child prodigy they let him skip a grade and another and another, until they finally found a grade that gave him a challenge. He was dubbed genius and praised by all teachers and parents. Yea the children in his grade didn't like that very much, so the beating and bulling began. It's amazing how humans thought they had evolved, yet they still like animals attack the week. Aren't human's fun.

So you'd think light would be smart enough to tell the humans in charge about these little attacks, but he was smarter and even more childish then I would of thought, though not a bad thing for me it made it all the more entertaining. I realised he went by the saying an eye for an eye. So every time someone teased him they met with a little accident that was devised by him but had no way to lead it back to him. It had me in stiches; it seemed I couldn't stop laughing while watching him. The punishments started out small and then escalated like he was testing things first.

The teasing slowed down when he had a growth spurt and what a growth spurt it was, he ended up being taller than the other kids in his class and his intelligence increased immensely, though he refused to skip a grade, not wanting to go through all those problems again.

For a couple of years things went slowly really with him studying and just beating people out of there money. After awhile it got old and things started to get boring, for me and him.

Then I had an idea to solve both our problems. I flew to a cliff and dropped a death note I stole from another shinigami for fun. I dropped it where I knew he would see it. I knew he was too curious to not go pick it up. When he picked it up I waited a couple of days to see what he would do and like I thought he took the bait. Time to go down to the human world.

And let the fun begin.
