THE GREAT MYTHOS OF DAN
CHAPTER 5

"Boy I sure am glad we got out of that hole alive." Said Dan, "After saving the day again, I sure am tired." Dan stroked his head and patted Tom on his head as well. Out of anger, Tom tucked his shirt into his pants.
"Would you please stop that Dan, it is getting on my nerves." Tom said, putting on another shirt so that he could tuck it into his pants.
"Fellas, we aren't gonna get anywhere by fighting" Said Master Cricket, commenting on the boys quabbling. It was true. Ever since they met Master Cricket, the two had been fighting.
"You there, Dan, I have come to stop you with the power of darkness!" Shouted a mysterious shadowy figure of obscurity.
"Gasp!" Yelled Sid. "Who is this hooligan?"
"I know who that is!" Rob stated. "I have met him once in my travels. That is Shadow Dan and he has all the powers Dan does, only with more shadows."
"No way!" Shouted Tom. "That is unpossible. He said, untucking his shirt, ready for battle.
"Why are you being so negativ- oh my god, its Shadow Dan. I knew that this would happen since I got banished from my village. I remember it." Dan stated, forgetting he couldn't remember anything so he had nothing to forget.
"Yes, that is true, Dan. I have always been your nemesis." Said Shadow Dan. "I work for the evil overlord Nad's friend Carlos who lives on the tower of death and killing black people."
"No, this is the last straw I must avenge my father!" Shouted Rob as he attacked Shadow Dan at full force. But this only created Shadow Rob, destroyer of the great kingdoms. He was rumored to have been created over ten thousand years ago and since been the ruler of Dimalignitomibus, the kingdom of wood.
"No, Rob, you shouldn't have done that because I knew that would happen because I borrowed Tom's powers for a second." Said Sid.
"I will deal with this!" Master Cricket said, jumping into the action. He licked Shadow Rob in the face and liberated the kingdoms of wood, but at the cost of his own life.
"We will remember that guy whoever he is" Sid said, being sad that his master had died.
"I am still not defeated." Said Shadow Dan. "As long as you have the power of evil within you because you secretly have bad thought at night about women, I will exist... Tom."
"Actually, I kind of have a thing for Sid." Said Tom, untucking his shirt.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Shouted Shadow Dan, as he exploded into flames that burned his skin horribly. "I will return to kill you my ultimate nemesis, Tom and then you will be sad and dead." He said as he flew into the sky to return to his master Carlos.
"Looks like I saved the day again." Said Dan, licking his sword. He brushed his hair out of his face. It was getting pretty long, and sort of fringed perfectly to the left. "I like my hair like this." He said dying it black and cutting his wrists.
"But our adventure is not nearly completed" Said Rob. "We must still travel and save the day and complete the prophecy."
"I forgot all about that." Said Dan, remembering the prophecy that had been around since the beginning of time and they figured out they were destined to complete.
"Dan, do you remember the tree you found me under?" Asked Tom, remembering the first time they met after Dan had been banished. "The one that I fondled" Said Tom, tucking his shirt into his pants.
"No." Said Dan.
