A/N: Very very short. I wrote this to pretty much just prove to myself that I could write something with Stayne/Alice that wasn't violent. I might use this on another story but for now I'm content with it staying as a one-shot. ~Viva

Stayne walked into his room exhaustively weary and the sight of Alice slightly lifted his spirits. She sat at the top of his bed with her legs pressed to her chest, watching Stayne from above her knees, noticing how numbly his limbs moved. Stayne sat on the end of the bed with his back toward Alice and began to take off his armor. The chest piece hit the ground with a sold sounding thud as he massaged his temples. Alice crawled across the bed and snaked her arms around his neck, leaning her body into his thinly clothed back.

She breathed in the musty smell of his long dark hair and he sighed in content as he took one of her small thin hands in his, playing with her pale fingers. He closed his eyes and hung his head forward slightly, stretching his tired neck muscles. Brushing the hair from the back of his neck, she kissed the pale skin lightly and then leaned her forehead against it, her eyes closed contently.

"I want to stay like this forever." Alice whispered to him. Ilosivic didn't reply, just stayed perfectly still, staying suspended in the moment.
