Hangman: Akatsuki Style
It was a cold night in the Akatsuki lair, and all was quiet…too quiet. To pass the time, Deidara had given everybody a piece of paper with several lines on them. He had said that they were to solve the puzzle by playing Hangman. However, they could not share answers, guesses, or anything with each other. If they wanted to know if a letter was correct, then they would have to go to Deidara for that.
Surprisingly, the first one to guess correctly was Tobi. He was soon followed by Pein, Konan, Sasori, Zetsu, Kakuzu, Kisame, and Hidan (after cursing loudly out of frustration). The only one that was left was Itachi. "You have not figured it out yet?" Deidara asked his boyfriend. Itachi growled in response. So what if he had not solved it? It was Hangman! A children's game. However, he was secretly pissed off. How the hell did Tobi get it first?!
"I have never played Hangman before," Itachi whispered. "Why not? The game is pretty easy. You just have to guess with the letters of the alphabet before the man can be completely drawn from all the letters that you guessed incorrectly," said Deidara. Itachi nodded. "I know, but I only have one wrong guess before I lose. What if I get it wrong?" The hyperactive blond looked at Itachi's paper. He only had the letters "Y" and "B" on it. 'Well, I guess I can help him,' thought Deidara.
They spent a couple of minutes together, and in the end…
"Come on, Itachi! You can guess now! You only have to fill in a couple of the blanks now," Deidara said, almost in a pleading voice. Itachi smirked, though Deidara did not notice it at al. "I know what it says. Anyone could have guessed it, Deidara. I just wanted to spend some alone time with you that did not involve your tongue down my throat," Itachi finally said. Deidra was stunned, angry, stunned again, and finally happy. "Baka, you could have just said so," he told his boyfriend. Deidara pulled Itachi closer and kissed him passionately. After crookedly writing the missing letters and solving the puzzle, the paper laid on the table.
They continued to kiss until they finally noticed that they were too excited to actually just keep kissing. No, they had to do something else…
"Well, puzzle time did not last long," Zetsu said. Tobi nodded in agreement. "How did you solve the puzzle first, Tobi?" Kisame asked with confusion. Tobi stayed quiet…
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SHADOW PRIESSTES!!!!" he shouted after the silent moment he had. "Shut up, Tobi!" the blond and raven shouted from elsewhere in the lair. "So, he knew it was her birthday?" Hidan asked before going into a cursing fit.
