I am hereby making a cracky oneshot for my friend and her OTP. This is definitely NOT my area of expertise. I'm really bad at writing anything other than anime fanfiction. So Jo, just know that I love you by doing this for you. So this is dedicated to the author, Whovianfiction on this site. You should read her stuff, it's pretty darn good. Nothing like me, but she is good at her own style. Oh, and Jo, congrats for guessing what my pairing is for Doctor Who! :P
Disclaimer: Nothing belongs to me. Sadly.
River was just running away from the crazy cannibals trying to eat her, when the blue box appeared with it's door open, ready for her to get inside. She rushed inside, and was immediately swept off her feet by her husband.
"What have you been eating lately?! You're getting heavier!" he exclaimed. River just stared with a glare. "Oh. Sorry, I mean you must have been on a diet recently, because you're so thin and beautiful!" he corrected.
"Much better." River replied. She was laid down, and she noticed the new surroundings. "You changed the place around, it looks good." she commented. The Doctor was already running around fiddling with the TARDIS, and barely stopped to pay her any attention. "Why did you pick me up in the first place? I wasn't planning on seeing you."
The Doctor finally looked up, and smiled. "It's a secret." he whispered for no reason at all. River deadpanned, and shook her head. She just sat down in a chair, and waited for the time traveling to be over.
When they got to their destination, the Doctor parked the TARDIS and covered River's eyes with his hands.
"Seriously, we're going to do this?" River asked.
The Doctor cheerfully answered her by saying, "Yep!" River just sighed. After the TARDIS had taken off and River had asked a bunch of questions to try and figure out where they were going, the Doctor got a blindfold and put it over her eyes. The Doctor led River out of the TARDIS with the blindfold still on. The anticipation of what was going to happen was wearing on her mind, and she was nervously blinking behind the blindfold.
"Doctor? Where are you taking me?" she asked. The Doctor chuckled as he told her to wait a little longer. When they finally stopped walking, the Doctor slowly took off her blindfold. River gasped as she saw the planet in front of her. There were sparkling blue waterfalls and a big shining lake. The mountains were gorgeous, so she turned around trying to see behind her.
"Llamas?! Why are there llamas in this beautiful place?!" she screamed. The llamas were everywhere, spitting and chewing up grass. It was a rather disgusting sight.
"Sorry, I just couldn't find a better place that was- for the most part- unoccupied. I wanted to find someplace special for the honeymoon we never had." River gasped and jumped on him.
"Oh, you romantic blubberhead, you! Thank you so much!" River was basically bursting with happiness, which in turn made the Doctor happy. Sensing all of the happiness, the llamas decided to move to the water to drink. Them doing so pushed their camp to the ground, which really wasn't a good thing. When the Doctor and River slapped him in the face.
"Llamas, really?!"
The Doctor sheepishly grinned and said, "I can have the TARDIS find somewhere better if you would like."
"I would like that." River told him. When the TARDIS found a suitable place even prettier than the first, they shared a kiss on their missed honymoon.
Thanks for reading! I hope you like it Jo!
