The People We Know

Hey guys this is my first story so give me some ideas so I can make better chapters. This is a story about Gravity Falls and Sonic. Hope you enjoy. I might add my own OC in the next chapter.

It was a hot and sunny day in Gravity Falls. Mabel, Dipper, Soos, and Grunkle Stan were at the pool enjoying the cool refreshing water. Dipper was sitting under a tree reading a book about mysteries around the world when his sister saw him.

Dipper: AHHHHH.

Out of nowhere Dipper was splashed with water. He looked up to see his twin sister staring down at him. She was wearing a purple one piece bathing suit with pink flowers. She was holding an empty water bucket.

Dipper: What was that for?

Mable: It's a nice warm day, were the only ones at the pool, and you're reading a book.

Dipper: So a lot of people read at the pool.

Mable: Can you at least get in the water for a little while?

Dipper look at the pool to see Soos and Grunkle Stan looking over at them.

Dipper: Fine but only for a few minutes. I really want to finish this book.

After few minutes of swimming around Soos stepped out the pool to take a break.

Soos: Wow today is a good day.

He looked over to see something shining in the bushes.

Soos: Huh. What's that?

As Soos walk to the bush the mysterious shine got a little brighter. As he looked over in the bush he saw some kind of gem.

Soos: Cool. That's a shiny rock

When he went to pick it up there was a sudden flash and he was gone.

Grunkle Stan stopped playing marco polo with Mabel and Dipper and looked around for Soos.

Grunkle Stan: Hey has anyone seen Soos?

Mable: Wait. Wasn't he just here?

Dipper: I think he stepped out to take a break.

Dipper pointed to where he seen Soos had stepped out.

Dipper: What? He was just there.

Grunkle Stan: Maybe he's back at the car. I'll go check.

Grunkle Stan stepped out of the pool and made his way to the parking lot where the car was parked.

Mable: Hey Dipper i've been meaning to ask what book you were you reading a second ago.

Dipper: Oh it was a book about some of the world's unsolved mysteries. There was one story that had me confused.

Mable: Really? Was it?

Dipper: It's about some guy that was searching in a newly discovered temple in Amazon Jungle. They said he was after some gems called the "The Gems of Eris". Then he went missing for months, the only thing they found was his journal. The last thing that was wrote in it was "They gems are too dangerous they must be hidden".

End of chapter 1 sorry it wasn't that long but With school and everything I won't be able to make chapters as much as I would like to. I bet some of you are wondering why I called the gems the gems of Eris, well that because eris is the greek god of chaos and if i'm wrong please tell me. Alright see you guys later.
