Ruby's grandfather has been watching over Ruby ever since her mother died. Always watching from the shadows. He will watch over her until she is strong enough on her own. This story idea has been in my head for a while and I wanted to know what you guys think. Please review and let me know what you so that I know whether or not to continue this story.

Cliffside Forest

It was a snowy night at the cliffs at Cliffside Forest. The only thing that could be seen was a raven flying to the cliffs through the forest. When it made it to the top of the cliff it saw a girl in a red cloak. It landed on her shoulder to see a grave marker at the edge of the cliff. When the girl paid her respects she abruptly turned around and slowly walked away towards the woods. The raven flew back towards the grave marker and then changed. The raven's form morphed and twisted until in his place was a man. The man wore a cloak as well like the girl, the difference was that it was black and seemed to absorb the moonlight as his body and face were shroad in shadow. He was about six foot four and had two attached to his back. "I will protect her Summer. Even if I have to destroy all of Vale to do it." The man promised to the grave marker. He turned and changed back into the form of a raven and flew back to the woods. He went to find the little girl that had left earlier. What he found was nothing short of amazing. She was able to hold back a pack of Beowolves by herself with no back up needed. 'I will keep her safe Summer. Just like I promised.' When the last bullet casing fell to the ground the raven flew into night sky. Watching over the little girl in red. Summer once called him something that was fitting for what he did. The Rose's Shadow she called him, for he was the shadow that watched as a rose grew into something as deadly as beautiful.
