Hello Merlin fandom! I have been creeping on you all for awhile... But have never joined in. Mostly because I am in denial about the end of series five.

A few years ago in school, we had to write a sonnet. I wrote mine on Merlin, because I am and always have been a nerd, Jim. First and last attempt at a sonnet, but I am still pretty happy with it!

Of Albion

With hair as black as coal upon the fire

And eyes that shine like sapphires in the night,

There never was a more kind-hearted liar,

Who hidst the truth in order to do right.

And thy companion, noble Arthur prince,

At first whom thou endeavour'd to despise,

The other side of thy coin will be hence,

Though naught he knows of thy most well-meant lies.

With noble heart and sorcery forbidd'n,

Protecting Camelot, and very well,

But for thine own life's sake keep magic hidd'n,

In vital secrecy cast ev'ry spell.

Two brothers true, as those around can see;

Together will complete their destiny.
