Silence

A poem by Sailor Saturn

Silence filled the air,

Blocking all sound,

Erasing all life.

They glare at me,

Hatred in their eyes,

My awakening has brought forth the end,

The end of the world.

A little girl clings to a man in black,

Tears in her crimson eyes,

"Mama," she whispers,

Her voice breaks the silence.

I ready my power,

My power to destroy,

And bring down my scythe,

As the world ends,

It all fades,

Fades into the welcome silence...
