A/N: Hey everyone! This is my first Harry Potter fanfic, and I'm extremely excited to see where this will go because frankly, I know as much about the future of this story write now as you do. I'm going to try to update at least once a week, and each chapter is going to be about a different character. They will all be told in the point of view of the old ghost, Professor Binns, unless I tell you otherwise. Please, please, please review so that I know what you guys want to read! As an author, I like to interact with my readers as much as possible, so I'll often put little questions or surveys for you guys to answer at the end of chapters. An Introduction From Professor Cuthbert Binns

It's fascinating, how much you Muggles can accomplish without the entire wizarding world having the slightest knowledge. Who would have known that one of your kind could ever turn up with someone bright enough to discover what has been safely sitting under your noses since the aftermath of the infamous witch trials? Well, I take my hat off to this Rowling woman for having stumbled across these well-kept secrets, and then making the discovery known to all Muggles in the form of a fiction series! It really is quite remarkable.

I do have some speculations to make, however, as to some of the witches and wizards included within these books. You see, I am quite an old soul, being a ghost and all, and I have seen the majority of these "characters" grow up within the walls of Hogwarts. It seems that Ms. Rowling has created quite a few stereotypes over the course of her world-renowned works, and I thought it best that I set some facts straight myself.

I realize that this may be the very briefest of introductions, but with nothing left to say at the moment, I will leave you to read deeper into the familiar characters that you think you have figured out. In time, you will realize just how wrong you really are.

A/N: I get, I get it! It's short….very, very, very short. In fact, it doesn't even take up half of a page on Word…but I didn't want to waste either of our time on boring introductions. However, I can promise you that the actual chapters will be MUCH longer.
