A/N: So this is set end of Jet Lag/ Start of Jackknife when Gibbs' shoulder is dislocated but this time instead of Tim bringing him home it's Sammy and she makes sure he's comfortable and not spending the evening on the couch. So pretty much my typical fluff fic . Anyway I hope you enjoy it regardless!

Dislocated Shoulders

Sammy unlocked the door and held it open for Gibbs, who followed her slowly as not to jostle his newly set shoulder. He kicked his shoes off and carefully dropped onto the couch while Sammy retrieved an ice pack from the freezer. She wrapped it in a towel and brought it out to Gibbs.

"Here let's get your blazer off so we can get some ice on your shoulder," Sammy said hoping he wouldn't fight her.

"Give me a sec," Gibbs hummed as he closed his eyes and leaned back on the couch.

"Ok," Sammy said gently rubbing his knee.

Sammy sat back on the couch and waited patiently until Gibbs opened his eyes.

"Ok. Let's get this over with," Gibbs said gruffly as he started unclipping his sling.

Sammy helped him reach the clips he couldn't before easing his blazer off his good shoulder then moving to his other side to carefully ease it off his other arm with him extending it as little as possible. Once it was off she clipped his sling back into place and Gibbs leaned back again with a groan. Sammy got him to sit up just enough to slide the ice between his shoulder and the couch.

"Is it ok there?" Sammy asked softly paying attention to his face to make sure he wasn't sugar coating anything.

"Yeah," Gibbs hummed not opening his eyes.

"Good. Are you hungry?" Sammy asked softly.

"No," Gibbs mumbled not bothering to move.

"You sure?" Sammy pressed knowing he hadn't eaten since before their take down.

"Yup," Gibbs grunted.

"Ok," Sammy said softly running her fingers through his hair. "I'll go get the bed ready then we can get you settled."

Gibbs nodded and Sammy pressed a soft kiss to his lips before heading up to their room to rearrange the pillows on the bed then added a few from the spare room so she could use them to prop up Gibbs' shoulder.

When she walked into the living room again she found Gibbs snoring softly right where she left him.

"Honey," Sammy said softly as she ran her fingers through is hair again. "Wake up, It's bedtime."

"Hmmm," Gibbs grunted as he came to.

"Let's get you to bed," Sammy replied in the same soft tone.

"Mkay," Gibbs hummed as he stretched before wincing when his shoulder throbbed.

Once he pushed himself up Sammy took his good hand and they headed for the bedroom. After many stops and some carefully changing Gibbs settled back on the pillows Sammy set up and she tucked gently tucked a couple under his shoulder. He closed his eyes and waited for his shoulder to settle down.

"Are you comfortable?" Sammy asked from her place on the edge of the bed. "Do you need any more pillows?"

"No this is fine," Gibbs mumbled already starting to fall asleep again.

"Good," Sammy hummed as she patted his knee, "I'll be back in a sec."

Sammy carefully tucked the blanket up around Gibbs before heading to check the doors and change into her pjs. That done she headed back up and hit the lights before carefully crawling into bed beside Gibbs; making sure not to jostle his shoulder.

"Do you need anything before we go to sleep?" Sammy asked softly.

"Nope," Gibbs mumbled sleepily.

"Ok," Sammy hummed. "Where do you want me?"

"Here," Gibbs grunted patting the spot beside him.

Sammy carefully settled into his side and pulled the covers over herself.

"You wake me up if you need anything ok?" Sammy insisted.

"Mhm," Gibbs mumbled already half asleep.

Sammy waited until Gibbs was completely asleep before letting herself drift off, making sure she was settled so she wouldn't bump his arm where it rested across his stomach.
