I did this for fun. I was at the computer, and the internet didn't work, so I opened up Microsoft Word and started typing. It's a suppose to be a small Link x Ilia 'drabble' or whatever you call it, and it sets after the game.

Minor Spoilers

Disclaimer: Link and Ilia(and twilis) aren't mine. It's Nintendo's. But the story's mine.

She sighed.

"Must you leave…?"

"Yes. I…need to get away for a while."

"But, why? Can't you stay here?? You…you're leaving to find that twili girl, aren't you?" she suddenly realized. Link sighed.

"How many times must I tell you? First, she's in Twilight and it's impossible to get there, and second, I don't love her like that!"

Ilia shook her head, doubting his words.

"Ilia…my heart lies with someone else."

She opened her mouth to ask, but his lips were already on hers. She could feel and taste his sweet breath in her mouth, and her eyes lowered in a trance. He held her face in his hands, his fingers knotting passionately in her hair. He kissed her furiously, almost like a gentle anger, with an edge of urgency. Even though his lips moved in a slow motion, it remained locked with hers. Any reason to push him away was crushed. Her hands moved up his sides, then her arms locked around his neck. Maybe if she stayed like this, he would forget that he was leaving. Finally, their lips parted, and he unlocked her hands from his neck, almost as if he had read her mind.

"Sorry. That was a bit too much." Link muttered.

'I didn't think so." she frowned. He shook his head slowly, then glanced at Epona.

"I have to go. I promise I'll come back some day, but don't count on me coming any sooner."

He gently kissed her once more, and then got on Epona. All she could do was watch him leave, not coming back for a long time. Ilia wanted to go chase after him, but she was rooted to the ground.

"Goodbye, Link. I love you." her whisper drifted into the air, twirling in the passing breeze.

He would always remain in her heart.

I do support Link x Midna, even though I think its onesided. It's just that, I find it easier to write about Link x Ilia.
