PLEASE READ
WARNING: I DON'T own the Hunger Games or it's characters or the idea of it. It's Suzanne Collins wonderful masterpiece I merely enjoy to create new stories using what she has very kindly shared with us.
My ideas may not always be original either but I promise I'm not trying to copy anyone else's work if it seems to similar and would like me to take my story down please leave the message in the review section and we can discuss it as well any other questions to concerns.
Also, if you would like one of my stories translated into another language I may figure that out for you just tell me in the comment section!
This is just a fluffy little one-shot I hope you enjoy! And guess what! Did you hear there's going to be a new Hunger Games novel!? I'm so excited! But sadly I heard it's a prequel with no Peeta and Katniss or any of the other long-time beloved characters :( But I'm still so happy to learn there will be another book about the world of Panem!
I wake up to Peeta's warm breath and sloppy kisses being placed along my neck and were the t-shirt I'm wearing of his falls off my shoulder leaving it bare. I reach behind me and run my hand through his thick hair then decide to turn over and face him "Morning." he says and gives me his lazy morning smile I adore while looking so handsome with his tousled bed head and his holiday sleep pants and white bakers shirt.
"Hi," I reply and kiss his lips lightly to which he reciprocates. We kiss languidly for a while until a little adorably squeaky voice says "Daddy, Mama I want snuggles!" We both groan slightly but can't help to grin looking at our little pipsqueak daughter we can't help loving her more than anything.
Peeta reaches over me and picks her up and places her in the middle of us just the way she likes it she says that way I get both of Mama and Daddy cuddles at once and it makes me feel safe being between you Mama and Daddy. Peeta and I simultaneously wrap our arms around her making one big giant hug. I kiss her head then her perfect little dainty nose and stubborn little chin that Peeta said she got from me and then her delicate little long eyelashes which are so long and full the envy of everyone else when it comes to that particular facet which comes from her father.
She's almost the exact replica of me look wise with her long dark brown almost black hair and her facial features but her bright blue eyes, beautiful eyelashes, round doe-like eye shape are like her father. Our son who is still quietly sleeping in the room adjacent to ours look so much like his father with his ashy blond curls, beautiful eyelashes, and strong nose but has my almond-shaped eyes that are the same exact shade of grey as mine as well. We have the most beautiful children we think.
"I love your kisses Mama and Daddy gives the best snuggles and cuddles ever." my precious girl says very matter-a-factly and Peeta chuckles "Your Mama gives very special kisses," he says cheekily to which I give him a small smile while serenely brushing my fingers through our daughter's thick hair and reply "I agree with you about your Daddy's snuggle and cuddle abilities too." Peeta smiles at me and blows a kiss. "You and Daddy are always kissy it's kinda gross. Will you braid my hair, Mama," she asks to which I comply and laugh a little at her comment about her Dad and me; she then falls backs asleep while I'm braiding her hair. I kiss her forehead and get up to check on our son while my little girl snuggles up to her Daddy's chest while she's asleep.
I walk into his room while he's making little sleepy noises that sound so much like his father which both children inherited it's utterly adorable and as I crouch near his small bed and kiss his little nose he slowly opens his eyes then smiles at me and open his arms and says "Mama!" I pick him up and gently rock him on my hip in a soothing manner and he nuzzles his little head into the shoulder. "Sshh my perfect little baby boy lets go see you're big sister and Daddy." he squeals slightly at that and says "Daddy, Sisa!" his vocabulary is very limited at such a young age the only words he only knows our Mama, Daddy, cheese bun, pretty, sun, Kitty, and sister but he can't quite pronounce sister correctly yet he says sisa instead.
I bring him back to our room and lay back down with our adorable little son in my arms and let him crawl over to Peeta and his sister after he sees him and starts squealing "Daddy, Sisa!" My beautiful girl then wakes up then starts chattering to Peeta about some cookie recipe they made up and our little boy babbling words I can't understand and crawl over to beautiful family and wrap my arms around them and kiss my husband on the nose and enjoy this peaceful morning of my enthusiastic daughter talking up a storm and my sleep head son cuddling his Mama and Daddy and seeing my husband the father of my children with my favorite of his shit eating grin and he listens to our daughter and plays with my hair.
Thanks for reading!
