Prologue: The Beginning Of The Journey
The vampire extended her fangs and bit into the soft flesh of her prey. The human struggled helplessly as he felt his life being drained away. The vampire closed her ruby eyes in bliss and let out a sound of contentment. The man's sweet and tangy crimson life giving liquid traveled down the vampire's throat and filled her empty belly. The man felt himself getting weaker and weaker the longer the vampire drank from him.
The man knew he was dying but still tried one last vain attempt at freedom. The vampire proved to be stronger and pulled the man closer to her. She heard, with her enhanced hearing, her prey's heart start to slow as she continued to feed off him. The human sent one last prayer up to him god and breathed his last breath while closing his eyes.
The vampire released the man after she had completely drained him dry of his blood. The corpse dropped to the cold ground with a 'thud' and the vampire retracted her fangs. She wiped some stray blood off her lips and turned away. The sound of flesh tearing and bones snapping and crunching was heard as the vampire changed her physical form to that of a gray wolf.
The wild canine howled up at the moonless sky and bounded off into the nearby forest. The man would be found the next day by a neighbor taking their morning walk. His killer would never be found.
Wow! That actually turned out better than I thought. This is sort-of my first actual good story (from my point of view) so I hope you like the start. Please review.
Next-Chapter One: The Discovery
Oh! I don't own Stargate: Atlantis at all. If I did Carson would never have died. I only own my OC's.
