"Liberty!" Jt called out as he walked down the sidewalk. The air was warm as he walked to his car. He paused his blood freezing as he turned to the thugs. "Ha ha you just slay me with your humor." Jt spoke sarcastically trying to hide his ever growing fear. The lock was proving tricky in the old car as he stared into the window, his heart beat fast he was just going to wait for liberty since he was her ride home. His eyes widened as the air rushed out of him, 'Was this what it felt like to die?' he wondered he was much to young had a whole life to live. But his heart slowed...
Their bodies were a tangle of limbs in the back seat of his car. The drive in played but he didn't care. Jt's hand gently traced her backside feeling the warmth of her soft skin against his rough hand. Her body was laying over his, her head on his chest. Listening to his heart beat had to be one of her favorite things, he just traced patterns among the plane of his chest. "Jt?" She question softly, he adjusted his head to look down at her, he gently brushed her hair out of her face. "Yeah Libby?" She kept up her small patterns he knew she was thinking of her latest fight with her father, they were that close that they could now tell when something was wrong they had learned the other. He knew sometimes not even their love making made her feel loved and replaced the pain. She was glad he had come right after her, and she love that he was always there with his funny loving self. If any asked her if she would fall in love with Jt Yorke, she would proudly claim that she would. To her he was her knight. She was his first and she wanted him to be her last. "Tell me how its going to be?" Jt knew she was talking of the little story he created. "Well we will get our own little place, you will be a big lawyer, I'll be on tv a big star someone you can be proud of. We will be our own little family..." his voice soother her as he recalled the whole story.
How wrong he could ever be. They sat your life flashes by your eyes, isn't quite true. He remembered their first kiss, the dance, her yelling at him, her being pregnant, their last moment. Him walking away then back, for Jt Yorke could never just walk away from her for good. The memories kept flashing his mind, their place, their drugs, how he failed their dream. He knew he messed up, he wanted another chance another chance to make it right. But her screaming in his ear, as his heart slowed made him realize he wasn't going to get another chance. He wasn't sure if he was saying this or if it was only in his head. "Libby its going to be ok. I still love you." Like their love could save the young boy from his fate. Jt's world went black.
After graduation Liberty found her self with Emma walking into a white nursery. Tears streamed down her face as she moved to the crib, he saw their son. The last thing she could ever see of Jt, her heart broke a little further remembering the man that would forever have her heart even in death. Liberty picked the small child up, she cradled her son to her tight as a sob racked her body. Emma helped her into a rocking chair, Liberty rocked and willed the child silently to open his eyes. She felt a hand on her shoulder even though no one was there. She it was Jt with her looking over her and their son. "Hes beautiful." she stroked his hair out of his face, and the child's eyes opened. They were the same exact shade of his, they gave her the same loving look. Liberty smiled with tears running across her cheeks. She knew he lived on, in their son and in her heart he would never be forgotten.
