The Ranger's Hymn

By Sarge11

Disclaimer: The Galactic Rangers are all property of Insomniac Games. However, I'm not sure about the Marine's Hymn.

This is sung to the tune of the U.S. Marine's Hymn. The original words are beneath the made up ones in Italics.

The Ranger's Hymn

From the Halls of Starship Phoenix

To the swamps of Sarathos,

We will fight our planets' battles

From the oceans to plateaus.

First to fight and then to flight

So as to save our sorry hides.

We aren't so proud to claim the title

Of Galactic Rangers.

Our screams are heard for miles

From dawn to setting sun

We have fought in ev'ry clime and place

Where there still is room to run.

In the snow of Grelbin, Hoven,

And in the sun of Pokitaru,

You will find us running, screaming-

The Galactic Rangers.

Here's health to you and to our corps,

Which we aren't too proud to serve;

In many a strife we've fought for life,

And almost always lost our nerve.

If the Heroes and the Villains

Ever look on Heaven's scenes,

They will find the streets are empty

Of the Galactic Rangers.

The Marine's Hymn

From the Halls of Montezuma

To the shores of Tripoli,

We will fight out country's battles

In the air, on land and sea.

First to fight for right and freedom

And to keep our honor clean.

We are proud to claim the title

Of United States Marine.

Our flag's unfurl'd to ev'ry breeze

From dawn to setting sun

We have fought in every clime and place

Where we could take a gun.

In the snow of far off northern lands,

And in the sunny tropic scenes,

You will find us always on the job-

The United States Marines.

Here's health to you and to our corps,

Which we are proud to serve;

In many a strife we've fought for life,

And never lost our nerve.

If the Army and the Navy

Ever look on Heaven's scenes,

They will find the streets are guarded

By United States Marines.

Just something I felt like doing. So tell me what you think.
