Sonic woke up hearing a light clattering sound from his balcony.
"Huh?" he mumbled. A ray of light shone in from the window and lighted up his dark room. His eyes adjusted to the light and he slid out of his bed. He pulled back the curtains and was met with the morning sun. He had slept in.
"I wonder what that sound was," he thought out loud.
He shoved the door open and instantly saw a blur but couldn't quite see what it was.
The hedgehog walked to end and looked over the ledge but nothing was to be seen besides the passing of cars.
"Hm, that's strange, I could've sworn I heard something out here..."
Assuming it was just his imagination, he turned around to go back inside but something caught his attention. His eyes darted to the small table he had on his balcony.
"What's this?"
Sonic blurred over to the table and picked up the envelope.
'To: The fastest faker alive'
He grinned at the title. Only one person would ever write something like that. He also recognised the handwriting. Still smirking, he opened the envelope and took out the note. It was short and simple and went straight to the point.
So faker,
Will you be my Valentine?
Yes or no?
He laughed a little before sighing. "Well I don't know, this note could be from anyone, I mean look at me, I look amazing," he joked. "Of course I'd say yes."
P.T.O
The blue hedgehog turned over the note as said.
Turn around.
Sonic raised an eye ridge at this. He turned around and was embraced by the black and crimson hedgehog.
"You finally decided to show yourself," Sonic mocked, hiding his surprised look. He hadn't thought he'd make a direct approach.
"Shut up and kiss me faker," he purred.
Their lips touched in a passionate kiss. Sonic wrapped his arms around his neck and kissed him harder, his grip loosened on the letter and floated down gently until it met with the floor.
"Happy Valentine's Day..." the ebony hedgehog muttered into the kiss.
"Same to you faker."
