Peter's POV
It's hard trying to fit in, although college is easier than high school. Being a werewolf certainly doesn't make it any easier. I'll have to find an excuse as to why I disappear every full moon, once I make some friends anyway. Right now I'm staying away from people. My roommate seems to be doing the same, though I'm not sure why. From what I have seen of him he's pretty normal.
His dark features include short, black hair, brown eyes and brown skin. He seems to take night classes, as he's always asleep during the day. Besides that the only thing I know about him is his name. Sam Alexander.
Sam's POV
My roommate could not be more annoying. He's always clumping around the room, making noise while I'm trying to sleep. We've been in school for a week now, he should understand I take night classes, even if he doesn't know why. I've lied for years, saying the sun hurts because of a skin disease. Somehow I doubt college professors care. At least the school offers night classes, less flaunting the phoney skin cancer. Why make up a skin disease? Cause vampires don't mix well with sunlight.
It's nothing like those old horror movies were a second of being in the light will kill me, but boy does it hurt. After about half an hour my skin is burning. Not like turning pink burning, but like, third degree burns kind of thing. So I stick to night classes. No sense in burning myself just for some classes. I know I'm hot, but that's a bit excessive.
