Doctor Who and the Intergalactic Rooster.

Rose collapsed on the sand, exhausted. The Doctor plopped down beside her and ran a hand through his hair.

"Who knew a rooster could run so fast?" he panted. Rose merely shrugged, too breathless to speak.

"I still think it was just a normal rooster," she said once she'd regained her breath. "We should've just left it alone."

"I'm telling you," the Doctor insisted. "It was an intergalactic rooster from the planet Blarg."

The sat in companionable silence, watching the waves crash against the sand.

"You know I love you," the Doctor said suddenly.

Rose stared at him. "Huh?"

"I love you," he repeated, sidling closer. He leaned in and gently kissed Rose on the lips.

"Uhh," Rose stammered. The Doctor kissed her again, longer and deeper this time. Suddenly Rose flung her arms around the Doctor's next and forcefully began kissing him passionately.

"I love you too," she panted when they finally broke apart for air.

Suddenly the rooster fluttered down beside them and, with a loud blast of static, flames began to emanate from its beak.

"Told you it was intergalactic," the Doctor said smugly. Rose pushed him back on the sand.

"Oh shut up and kiss me," she said.

The End.
