Era: Post-Episode 5.22: "Swan Song"

Summary: You didn't care that just moments ago, you were ready to kill him.

Note: Written for the "Lucifer Drabble" writing challenge on LJ community - spnland; prompt - 'Write one drabble of exactly 100 words featuring or about Lucifer'

Note 2: Because the drabbles for the challenge had to be only 100 words, I kept having to change things up - therefore, here are the "original, earlier" versions of the drabble that was entered into the challenge.

You didn't care that just moments ago, you were ready to kill him. You didn't care about the fact that, ever since Father had told you to imprison him down here so many millennia ago, you spent all your energies trying to forget about him - trying to think of him, remember him only as the freak and monster that his decisions had made him become.

You didn't care about any of that as the two of you fell together, Hell reaching out and seeking to welcome its escaped leader home. You didn't care about how much you had believed you would always hate him as you held him close to you, wrapped your wings around him and allowed your Grace to flow over to him.

You didn't care about any past betrayals or hurts as you sought to protect him - rather than attempt to harm him.

You just held your little brother close, glad - for once - to finally have your family together again.
